Are you ready to leave the city behind and set off on a journey into the heart of nature, surrounded by countless shades of green? Our full-day Elevit Plateau Tour from Trabzon starts early in the morning with departure from Atatürk Square in Trabzon. As we travel comfortably toward the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize, the fairytale landscapes of the Black Sea accompany us. Our first stop is the famous Fırtına Valley, named after its wild and powerful river. As we move deeper into the valley, we listen to nature’s symphony, and for those who wish, we offer optional activities such as zipline or rafting for an energetic start to the day. Here we take a short break, allowing some guests to join the activities while others relax and enjoy the scenery. This special route gradually climbs to meet the “neighbor of the clouds,” the beautiful Elevit Plateau.
As we continue into the valley, stone arch bridges that witness the region’s history welcome us. We stop at the historic Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Bridge, one of the most photographed landmarks of the area, and capture the iconic views made famous by TV series such as “Sevdaluk.” Right after, we visit the impressive Zilkale, built on a steep rock and resembling an eagle’s nest. After this meeting point of history and nature, we head toward Çat Valley, accompanied by the refreshing scent of pine forests. Our short break and photo stop on the historic Çat Bridge becomes one of the most pleasant moments of the journey.
Around midday, we reach the highlight of our tour, the Elevit Plateau at an altitude of 1,800 meters. With its traditional wooden houses, a gentle stream flowing through its heart, and majestic mountains all around, Elevit will redefine your idea of peace. We plan our lunch at authentic local restaurants on the plateau, where you can taste traditional Black Sea dishes. Since the fresh mountain air will increase your appetite, we recommend bringing small snacks to enjoy during the journey until lunchtime.
At the end of the tour, we offer about 1.5 hours of free time on Elevit Plateau. You may walk along flower-filled paths, feel the icy water of the stream, or simply enjoy a cup of tea with a stunning view. As we return to Trabzon, you will carry with you postcard-like memories of Elevit and the warm spirit of the Black Sea. Alternatively, with your approval, your booking may be merged with partner agency groups to ensure your travel plans continue without interruption.
Meeting Points & Time: There are multiple pickup points available. You can select the closest location via Google Maps during booking. Please be ready at the designated time; however, pickup times may vary by up to 15 minutes due to traffic.
Hotel Pickup: If your hotel is outside our operation zone, please update your location by the tour date. If you haven't booked a hotel yet, select the "I will inform later" option to add your details afterwards.
ID & Preparation: It is mandatory to carry your ID card or Passport for security checkpoints in the region. Since the plateau weather is changeable, we strongly recommend bringing a raincoat/cardigan and wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Optional Activities: Activities such as Zipline and Rafting are not included in the tour price. Participation is optional; guests can purchase these services directly from the providers for an extra fee.
