Located in the heart of Uzungöl, one of Trabzon’s most visited destinations, the Dursun Ali İnan Museum offers a unique cultural journey. Spanning over 4000 m², the museum consists of three sections filled with pieces collected by Dursun Ali İnan over 30 years.
In the first section, you’ll explore Uzungöl’s history, geography, cuisine, religious and civil architecture, farming, and tourism development. There is also an exhibition on Dursun Ali İnan’s life and legacy. One highlight is the android kemenche player sculpture, which moves to the rhythm of music—a world first in a museum setting.
The second section features the Traditional Uzungöl House, a reconstruction of life 100 years ago. Rooms include a grain store, tandır oven area, animal shelter, and living space. Outside, you’ll see a stone pool, waterfall, and wooden bridge, all designed in traditional style.
The third section displays wooden sculptures made from tree roots collected over 25 years. These pieces reflect the aftermath of the 1993 avalanche in Uzungöl, reinterpreting nature through artistic expression.
