We start the day by picking you up from your hotel or the meeting point, depending on your reservation preference. Leaving the noise of the city behind, we turn our route to Hıdırnebi Plateau, located at an altitude of 1600 meters. The journey to the plateau is not just transportation; it is one of the most colorful moments of the tour. Passing through the Akçaabat countryside, you will witness the region's rural life like a live documentary, watching lush green hazelnut gardens, village houses clinging to the slopes, and locals working in the fields.
When we reach the summit, a completely different atmosphere awaits you, far from the humidity of the coast. Hıdırnebi Plateau is like a cool oasis, especially during the sweltering heat of the summer months. While filling your lungs with clean mountain air, you will be amazed at how impressive the Trabzon city center and the vast blue of the Black Sea look from the plateau when the weather is clear. If the weather is misty and cloudy, you will have the chance to experience the mystical atmosphere of the famous "sea of clouds" view.
The time you spend on the plateau is entirely under your control. You can take a peaceful nature walk on the vast grasslands and capture great photo frames around Hıdırnebi Pond. When you get hungry, you can take a break at the famous meat restaurants of the region and taste local flavors such as lamb chops, kuymak (cornmeal and cheese fondue), and kaygana.
Çal Cave Option (Optional): For our guests seeking more exploration and adventure, the tour program can be enriched with a visit to Çal Cave during booking. On this route departing from Trabzon, when we reach this natural wonder known as one of the world's longest accessible caves, we take a fascinating walk accompanied by the sound of water dripping overhead and the peaceful flow of the creek inside the cave. We explore this unique underground world, photographing the natural works of art formed by stalactites and stalagmites over millions of years, and feel the serenity of nature while sipping tea against the waterfall view at the cafe at the cave exit. After the cave visit, we turn our route to Hıdırnebi Plateau.
The final stop of the day is Sera Lake Nature Park. At this peaceful spot we visit on the way back, you can stroll along the walking path by the lake in the shade of lush green trees, or if you wish, you can rent pedal boats to sail on the lake. The calmness on the water and the colors of nature reflected in the lake offer a perfect opportunity to relieve the tiredness of the day.
At the end of this nature tour full of green, peace, and beautiful memories, we arrive in Trabzon in the evening and drop you off safely at the points where we picked you up.
Meeting & Drop-off: The tour starts from your hotel in Trabzon city center or the designated meeting point, depending on your reservation preference. At the end of the day, we drop you off at your original pick-up point or any preferred location in the city center.
Clothing & Preparation: Since Hıdırnebi Plateau is at an altitude of 1600 meters, the weather can be cool even in summer; we recommend bringing a cardigan or raincoat. For your comfort throughout the day, wearing comfortable walking shoes suitable for light walks is advised.
Lunch: Not included in the price. As this is a private tour, the time and place of the lunch break are entirely up to you. Your guide will gladly recommend the best local spots for barbecue or traditional regional dishes.
Entrance Fees: Entrance tickets (Çal Cave etc.) and personal expenses are not included in the tour price.
Weather Conditions: Due to the changeable climate of the Black Sea region, your guide may make small adjustments to the program for your safety and comfort in case of fog or rain.
